Let The CRAZY Begin

I told you things would crazy once school started and boy was I right! We just started week 2 of school and I am already pooped! Hannah is back at dance and loving it like crazy 3 nights a week. They add a new class this year called Core. And it is kicking her but, I'm sure she will be sporting a six pack by next summer! Ayden started football last week too! He just loves it and his body seems to be handling it well so far. They practice 5 nights a week for the rest of August for conditioning and then will back off to 3 nights a week. I can't really complain because it is Aaron who is in charge of the football stuff. I promise to to get some picture up of the kid's first day of school, football and back track a little this weekend! Hopefully I be able to get into a better swing of things in the weeks to come! For now it seems to all be kicking my BUTT!

Summer Fun

Summer is officially here! We survived June the month full of birthdays and now were on to just chilln'! I.E. "Mom I'm bored!" We had planned to take the family to Flagstaff over the 4th and visit the Grand Canyon and the ever popular Bed Rock City (home of the Flinstone family) but alas our AC went out the weekend before so we opted for a cool summer rather than a "cool" vacation! Oh well, we made our own little vacation right here at home. Our wonderful neighbors went out of town and asked us to watch their pool and oh did we watch their pool!!!!!! The kids had a blast and quite honestly so did we. P.S. Tanned some too.
School starts in less than a month (YEA??) bitter sweet I think! So the last few weeks of summer will consist of a few local outings here and there. So I can avoid "Mom I'm bored" and I can still bribe them to do their chores. The kids have been doing a little homework every day so that they are ready to roll when school starts and it has really been fun. Ayden is learning to write all of his letters and numbers. Pre-school got it going for him and he does well in recognizing them but writing is another story! He is all boy I suppose. Hannah is work with a 5th grade Logic book, which lets face it....... ;) Aaron is getting the yards in shape and they are coming along nicely, back yard to begin this weekend. I have been really wanting to do some major cooking! I have come across this thing called OAMC or once a month cooking. Basically you cook a ton of stuff over the course of a weekend and then label and stuff it in the freezer. My delema.... no big freezer! Working on that and hopefully I'll have more to update you all on. I know that once school, dance and football starts back in August my evenings are going to be, well interesting. Last but not least I wanted to wish my Girl Chachy a Very Very Happy Birthday! Especially because she is older than me! HAHA!

June the month of Birthdays!

June is a big month around here! With it brings the wonderful summer heat, great tans for the mom's while the kids swim and most of all the much dreaded Birthday Season! This year's season brings with it a few mile stones!




Dad turned 60 on the 4th!
Can't hardly believe it! Dang he is OLD!











Lilly turned 1 on the 13th!
Lilly got to celebrate her first birthday in her new house. Can't believe she is already walking and on her way to talking back!







Aaron turned 30 on the 19th!
We celebrated twice! Once with some friends at a local video game place and again at home with the family. 2 parties a such and old age, its amazing he survived it all!








Hannah turned 10 on the 28th!
So all Hannah really wanted for her birthday was
1. digital camera
2. hot pink pooper scooper! (pictured :)
3. clothes

Thanks to our wonderful and supportive family she made out like a bandit and got all she asked for and more! Hopefully it gets to put to good use in my back yard!


P.S. Ruthie our niece turned 3 however my sister in-law has not bestowed any recent pictures upon us! We celebrated her wonderful birth this year on Father's Day along with all the wonderful fathers in our family!

Ayden the bubble boy!

We finally got some answers! June 6Th we spent the night in the ER with Ayden thinking his appendix was on the verge of bursting! Turns out it was just pneumonia??? Pneumonia out of nowhere with no cold or anything first really concerned me. So at our follow up with Ayden's wonderful doc I demanded some tests be done. Ayden was such a little man and was very brave for all of the blood work that he had to endure. Plus he got to go play video games which was a pretty sweet deal! He had just had a nasty ear infection about 2 weeks prior and had had a whole round of Antibiotics, so I was concerned as to how he got pneumonia while being on antibiotics in the first place. Well we got our answer late last week, our beautiful boy has Valley Fever! Shock of a life time! Most everyone who lives in the valley eventually gets valley fever in the first 5 years of living here (Ayden is 5 1/2 and has been mysteriously sick off and on for the last 4 months) most people never know they have VF, but some are more adversely effected if VF is left untreated. Valley Fever is a lung infection. A fungus becomes airborne when dust around construction areas and agricultural areas is transported by the wind. When spores are inhaled, Valley Fever can result. Ayden already has asthma and and slew of allergies, one being mold. After a fight with the insurance company and the pharmacy he will begin his first round of meds today. He will be on them for the next 3 months and then should be good as new! We're as close as we can get!
I have his bubble on order from Amazon but of course it's on back order!

Ayden and Aaron just finished up their first year of T-Ball

It's official! Ayden is a ball player at heart and has a pretty good swing to boot!

He is down and ready to go in the "gunfighter position and Aaron's working in the outfield. They just finished up their first season with the Texas Rangers. We had lots of laughs, made new friends and are looking forward to the fall football season.

Ayden was just signed with the Buckeye Bolts and will begin training this Saturday at the first summer flag football camp. He is so excited to tackle someone! He doesn't quite get the point of the flag just yet!

Daddy Daughter Dance

Hannah had a dance recital about 2 weeks ago and she did wonderful. Near the end of the recital the company girls got to go on stage and do a daddy/daughter dance. It was breathtaking. They danced to "Butterfly Kisses" and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Can't believe my baby is such a performer. She looked beautiful. And check out the hunky hubby!
